I really enjoy the subs at Jersey Mike's. My favorite is the steak and cheese but I've had the Buffalo wrap, the Italian, the Jersey Shore and the tuna (all of which were good sandwiches). You can eat here for under $10 with a drink and chips so it's priced fairly. It can get crowded during lunch so plan ahead.

This is a fantastic departure from the typical sub shop. The ingredients here are always fresh, and I love the fact that every time I come in to order, they slice the meat right then. All the topping are super fresh as well, and that can definitely make a difference, especially the lettuce. At first I thought the sandwich was a bit small, but since they pack that meat on, it is incredibly filling. As others have said here as well, Mike's Way is the way to go, although makes for a very messy sub. I have joined their email list, which is awesome, because they send out coupons for discounts off subs, and I get a free one on my birthday. They have also started up a loyalty card deal where you eat enough sandwiches, you get one free. That shouldn't be too hard to do, with as good as the sandwiches are here.

The place was packed, so I figured it must be good. Yummy philly cheese steak; however they use a chipotle mayo instead of regular mayo. Bread is good.

Decent selection of subs. I only had the veggie so I can't say if the meats are any good or not. They have hot subs and phili-cheese steaks. The setup was very similiar to any other sub shops. The service was fast and friendly and the store was very clean, especially for the lunch time rush. The bread is fantastic.

Stopped into Jersey Mikes for the first time today when the sub line at Publix was way too long. Jersey Mikes was fast- I was through the line at lunchtime rush hour in less than 5 mins. I can appreciate this! The meat and cheese are sliced fresh and I can select which veggies I want while they are assembling (subway style). The bread was fresh and poofy. I opted for a regular, but I think I'll get the mini next time and be fully satisfied. My only gripe about places like Jersey Mikes is the lack of veggie variety. Shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles. What about the bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, spinach, etc etc?! It makes a veggie sub so sad. They do have a veggie option which includes green peppers (unavailable for the rest of the menu items), but it just doesn't sound like enough veggies to make it a good meal.

Jersey Mike's cheesesteaks are probably the safest cheesesteak choice in Orlando. They are consistent and good every time. This is a nice, clean location with excellent service.

Full disclosure: as a Florida girl, I've been totally spoiled by Publix subs. In comparison, most cold subs just don't stand a chance. But then I tried Jersey Mike's Subs and I will admit that though there is a Publix just a few steps away, I will always pick Mike's. They first had me with their mini subs. It's like they know me! These smaller subs are the perfect size and cheaper than the regular. Their bread is great, they slice the meet thin and right when you order, the line goes fast, and the personalities of the employees is a real treat- They clearly are given free reign to be un-boring! And as a Yelper, I can dig that! Finally, what sealed the deal was their tuns sub. I have a love/hate relationship with tuna subs and, more specifically, the mayo to tuna ratio. Mike's gets it perfect and has to be the best tuna concoction I've had! Pro-tip: get your sub 'Mike's way' with no salt - you won't even notice the difference because of the delish vinegar and, let's be real, we can all stand to use a little less salt. Amiright?

I'm giving them two stars only because of delivery. Every time I order delivery from them through doorstep they forget every instruction there is to each sub. Tonight both subs were exactly the same yet they still messed up! Both had oil and vinegar (they weren't supposed to), two we paid for extra cheese on both subs (yet didn't get it), and three we asked for bell pepper and banana peppers and didn't get either one (gave them a brake and combined the two peppers into one mistake). When we have visited in person the subs have been made to order and perfect, but 3 out of 3 times of ordering delivery they have been wrong! No more Jersey Mikes to go for us! Sorry.... And to top it off I just realized that my chocolate chip cookies are actually peanut butter! Don't mean to be mean but I spent most my life in this business so this was just pure laziness! Changed to one star!

Ok, so let's face it here, this is not a real Philly cheesesteak & I know because I've had many of the best in Philly!!! However, this was really, really good for a sub shop similar to a Subway or Blimpies. My mother actually brought garlic powder with us & asked the young lady making the subs to use it to season the meat for added flavor. Although they were hesitant, they obliged thankfully & it really did add some awesome flavor. My mom says that it's good but this made it great! I chose not to add onions & peppers because I really wanted to keep it simple & stick to the meat & cheese. I added a shmeer of mayo in the bread & it was seriously so good!! I will definitely get this again the next time I visit, especially with the buy one get one coupon!! 2 subs for a little under $8 is awesome!!

I have never had a bad experience at this jersey Mike's! I love the food and the service is always super nice! I usually get the Italian with extra lettuce and onions and TONS of the dressing! The price is a bit more than Subway but honestly, you can taste the freshness!

I am craving a Jersey Mike's Sub right now! Can someone run by and get one for me? haha. I had Jersey Mike's a little over 3 years ago. I was not impressed. I gave it a second whirl since it is right around the corner from me. 2nd visit...IMPRESSED! Being a girl from Philadelphia, I am a snob when it comes to hoagies (Subs as you southerners call them). So I guess you can say I have high standards. To put it in perspective to Orlando natives...I am not sold on the Publix sub. They are very inconsistent. Sometimes amazing, sometimes extremely disappointing. What hit me as soon as I walked into Mike's subs was the smell of the bread baking. YUM! Fresh bread daily that actually is pretty close to Northern bread, but not exactly. They also had a regular italian hoagie I could order instead of substituting the capicola ham (ewwww) with genoa salami. They had it on the menu, a CORRECT italian hoagie: Provolone, Tavern Ham and Genoa Salami. FTW! They also slice the meat fresh in front of you for each and every sandwich that is ordered. Publix can't say that...although they should! I love my meats sliced thin and that is exactly what I got. While I was waiting for my sandwich to be created, since it was dead and just after 11am on a wed...the guy stocking the chips read me my horoscope out of the newspaper. That was a nice customer service touch! The ultimate topping on a real hoagie is the oregano and they came through!!! It was really a delicious sandwich and I think I am going to become a regular. Some of the owners are from up north which is kinda cool. I always feel better when I go into a location that has a city or state in it's name and there is actually someone working there from that location. Call me weird...just makes me feel better about the place ;o)

Let's be honest, this is a sub place and there are a lot of sub places out there so why pick Jersey Mikes over any of the others? Well as far I as can tell the reasons you might want to go here over any of the others, all things being equal, is that they carve the meat and cheese fresh as you order and they use a flattop grill to heat up the ingredients for their hot subs rather than nuking them. Other then that I have nothing. Their website states that the bread is baked daily on the premises but I didn't get that yeasty, fresh baked bread smell when we walked in like you get at Subway and they only have two options - wheat or white. Because we try to keep it healthy, we had our sandwiches on wheat and frankly the bread was nondescript. I didn't get a fresh baked bread taste at all. I like the breads at Subway much more. At Jersey Mikes they also have very limited sub fixings - onions, lettuce and tomato. I much prefer the nutritional and flavor bonus of all the vegetable add-ons you get at Subway. And they have limited condiment options in the prep area - basically oil & vinegar. Other options are hidden away somewhere I guess - but it makes it confusing. They offer soups but I didn't see what they were when we were there today and you can lighten it up by basically getting your sub fixings in a bowl without the bread. No doubt if you don't really care about the nutritional value and eat these subs as the are designed, covered oil or mayo, they are probably tasty. But since I just can't bring myself to eat close to 1000 calories and 50 g of fat for an average lunch sub (regular size not even the giant), I will stick with Subway. It's less expensive and better for me.

I was brought a meatball sub from here when it first opened and it was good but not great... This last week we went again, ate in store, and I decided to try the steak n cheese. It was really good! I got it without peppers... I saw them doing what I love best about a steak n cheese, they cooked it all together on the grill (steak, onions, cheese) and then ladled it onto a HUGE sub! If you have a way to keep the sub, get the big huge one, pay a buck more and have half the next day (or for dinner). My daughter had the italian sub and she loved that, too. Maybe a little too much lettuce (and messy-it's shredded) but who cares when it's that good, right? I have a new favorite sub place!

I actually like these subs. They somewhat mimic Publix subs offering the same toppings. The meat is sliced as you wait and the subs are made to order. The store is clean and well kept and the staff was super friendly when I was there. The sweet tea tasted like there was 20 pounds of sugar in it and the unsweet tea was under brewed, meh. For a sub place, it's three steps ahead of subway, but I agree with Mimi, it is, afterall, just a sub place.

I've only been to Jersey Mike's once prior, but I prefer smaller chains to a place like Subway and I was STARVING, so I thought I'd give this place a second try. Service: While my first trip was less memorable, as soon as I walked in and was greeted by the entire counter staff, I had odd flashbacks of my first experience. Have you ever been overwhelmed by niceness? That was definitely how I felt upon both visits to Jersey Mike's. Everyone says hello, how are you and chats with you while you wait for your order. It's like the Pleasantville of sub shops. Definitely got the place more credit on my end, as the food wasn't anything to brag about. Food: I'm going to have to try an actual sub, as the only thing I've ever ordered is the Chicken Caesar wrap. The first time I got one, it was so dry I thought I was eating plain lettuce. Today was an improvement, but I could barely taste the chicken because the sandwich was drowning in dressing. Somewhere between 'what's dressing' and 'try the entire bottle!' would be a great balance. Maybe third time's the charm? Price: Not bad at all. If you're looking for a quick bite on the cheap, I would recommend Jersey's over Subway. It doesn't compare to a NY deli in the least, but it's better then the sandwich artist skills I've experienced any day.

If you're in kind of a hurry and looking for something quick, this is a great option. The ingredients are always fresh and the bread is super soft, with just enough crispiness. My favorite is the turkey and provolone - so delicious! I order it "Mike's Way" - he really seems to know what he's doing! Warning - this is not the kind of sub to eat in your car. It's pretty huge and requires your full attention.

Best cold subs in town. Meats are fresh and always sliced to order. You can always tell when a place is good when it's crowded and this place is always very crowded. I love the original Italian and the Club Sub. Prices are reasonable and the subs are very big. Staff is very quick and friendly. Excellent!

Saw the original store in a food show and thought I'd give this one a try. I gotta say not very impressed the subs were average. I usually get subs from the publix next door and after eating here I went back to publix. The only thing I will say is the staff is very friendly.
